Visualizations of the Conflicts of Interest PublicatiON Disclosures (COIPonD) Dataset
The COIPonD data set consists of “author-reported disclosure information (including lack of disclosure) for over 38,000 PubMed-indexed papers published between 1949 and 2022. The collected papers are indexed by discussed drug products with a focus on the 319 most commonly used drugs in the United States.” Our team of graduate and undergraduate student researchers, led by Drs. Scott Graham, Zoltan P. Majdik, Justin F. Rousseau and me, gathered these disclosures and annotated the funders and the types of conflicts of interest reported in each statement. Each image in the gallery visualizes the conflicts of interest for the publications associated with these drug products.
